對於大部份的現代電視，您可以使用 HDMI 纜線。將 HDMI 纜線連接到電視的 ARC/eARC 端口。在主揚聲器的背部面板上，使用標有 TV (V) 的 HDMI 輸入。然後，選擇 KEF Connect 應用程式中的「電視」模式。您亦可以使用主揚聲器頂部面板或遙控器上的按鈕開啓「電視」模式。如連接成功，頂部面板的電視標示將持續亮起。

Let the games begin
If you’re using an HDMI cable, the first step is to make sure your speakers are connected to your TV and the sound settings are correct. For help with this, see the section above (Transform your TV experience).
You can also use an optical cable
Alternatively, if HDMI is not an option and your console features an optical output, you can run the connection directly from your console to your speakers. Use the optical output jack on your device and the input jack (O) on the back panel of the primary speaker. Again, ensure that the digital audio output settings of your console is set to PCM 2.0.
Connect using an auxiliary cable
If your device has an analogue audio output, and your speakers have been onboarded, you can use an audio cable to connect your speakers. Plug the cable into the audio output jack on your device (turntables, computers or portable music players) and the 3.5mm auxiliary input jack (X) on the back of the primary speaker.
Select the right mode
Select “Auxiliary” mode (AUX) in your KEF Connect app. You can also turn on “AUX” mode with the source button on the top panel of the primary speaker or on the remote control. The “AUX” icon on the top panel stays lit when the connection is successful. All playback controls (except adjusting volume) will be done on the device itself.

Find the right spot for your subwoofer
Both speakers have a subwoofer connection. You can have one or two in your set up. Traditionally, a subwoofer is placed at the front of the room, off to the side, but it’s worth experimenting with placement as every room is different. You can even tell the KEF Connect app which KEF subwoofer you’re using.
Connect your sub with or without wires
Like with the speakers themselves, you can choose to go wireless or run a cable to your subwoofer. If you go for a cable, you’ll need an RCA connection. Use the subwoofer output jack (S) on the back panel of your primary speaker. If you go wireless, you can use KEF’s KW1 Wireless Subwoofer Adapter Kit. The discreet transmitter and receiver can be placed up to 15m apart.
