01. Elevate your TV experiences
XIO is the perfect all-in-one soundbar. It delivers KEF’s renowned technology in one sleek system.
Plugging in
XIO is compatible with HDMI enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) output from your TV.
This ensures integrated control through a single cable, as long as your speakers are connected to your local WiFi network. It is also compatible with optical audio connections for TVs that aren’t equipped with HDMI eARC.
Quick tip
To connect XIO, you might need to adjust a few settings on your TV. Keep in mind that some TV manufacturers might use different names for CEC and HDMI eARC connections (like Simplink or Anynet+).

XIO transforms your gaming experiences. Escape to new worlds with all your favourite games, simply by using HDMI eARC or optical cables.
HDMI cables
To use an HDMI cable, ensure XIO is connected to your TV and that its settings allow for this connection.
Optical cables
If your TV doesn’t allow for a HDMI cable but your console offers optical output, you can run your connection directly from your console to XIO. Simply use your optical output jack, marked “O” on the back of your soundbar.

Stream with KEF Connect
The KEF Connect app opens you up to a world of high-fidelity streaming. With XIO, you can stream music from Spotify, TIDAL, Amazon Music and more.

Can’t find your favourite streaming service in the app? We’ve got you covered. Use your device’s streaming function, or just use your streaming service’s app directly through Google Cast, Bluetooth or AirPlay 2.
04. Get Deeper Bass With A Subwoofer
XIO unleashes deep, powerful bass. You can take this even further by connecting it to a subwoofer.
Placing your subwoofer
Subwoofers can be placed at the front of the room, or even a little off to the side. We recommend experimenting with different spots to find what works best for you, because every room is different. You can also let the KEF Connect app know which subwoofer you’re using for easier integration.
Wireless subwoofer connection
All KEF subwoofers can be paired wirelessly with the KW2 RX Receiver, which has been designed specifically to ensure effortless, reliable connectivity.
